Controversial Nigerian singer and rapper, Speed Darlington, has expressed regret over remaining unmarried and childless as he approaches his 60th birthday.
In a recent video, the entertainer, popularly known as Akpi, said he feels unfulfilled despite his accomplishments, stressing that he desires a family more than material success.
“I am close to 60 with no wife or child. Is this how I am going to live my life? All I have to show is American papers. I want more than American papers out of life. I want family, freedom and respect,” he said.
His remarks have reignited discussions about his long-standing search for a life partner.
Several years ago, Speed Darlington publicly disclosed that he was looking for a wife, outlining his preferred qualities in a partner. However, he has yet to find one.
