Faleke buys N100m APC nomination forms for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid

A member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The forms were presented on Tuesday in Abuja by the APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, marking the formal opening of the party’s nomination process.

Faleke, who also leads the Tinubu Support Groups, completed the purchase of the forms valued at ₦100 million, signalling the official commencement of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for January 16, 2027, while governorship and state assembly elections will hold on February 6, 2027.

INEC also disclosed that party primaries, including the resolution of disputes, will take place between April 23 and May 30, 2026. Campaigns for presidential and National Assembly elections are set to begin on August 19, 2026, with governorship and state assembly campaigns commencing on September 9, 2026.
