Cristiano Ronaldo was on Tuesday unveiled by at Al-Nassr FC, Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo who is expected to earn about $200m per season in a contract that runs until 2025, said: “My Work In Europe Is Done, I won everything.
“I’m so proud to make this big decision in my life. My work in Europe is done; I won everything.”
Al-Nassr Presidentbsaid: “During the negotiations, Cristiano was clear he wants to be treated as the rest of our players. He does not want special treatment from us.”
On criticism of his choice to sign at Al-Nassr, Ronaldo said:
“I’m a unique player. I broke all the records in Europe and I want to break some here too. This contract is unique because I’m a unique player, so that’s normal.
“I had offers from Brazil, Portugal, America, Australia. But I gave my word to Al-Nassr.”
