The United Progressive Party (UPP) has commenced the issuance of nomination for all aspirants wishing to contest the 2019 elections on its platform.

He said: “The nomination fees to be paid are as reviewed and approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC) in its meeting of 17th August, 2018in Abuja: House of Assembly, N50,000; House of Representatives, N200,000; Senatorial N500,000; Governorship,N3million.”
The Press release also indicated that Women, youths under 39 years and the physically challenged are to obtain the forms free.
“Issuance of Nomination Form for State House of Assembly will commence from Monday 3rd September.
Senate and House of Representatives Nomination Forms will commence from 10th September; Governorship Nomination Form will commence from 17th September.”
He stated that all forms are to be obtained after payment of the requisite feeby a certified Bank Draft in favour of UNITED PROGRESSIll Nomination fees are non-refundable.
Completed nomination forms are to be returned not later thanMonday 24th September at the Party’s National Secretariat, Abuja.
