Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has congratulated Imo State born former Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr. Hilary Opara and other Senior Police Officers who have retired after a meritorious service to father land.
Prince Eze Madumere speaking to the newsmen shortly after the Pulling out Parade and Ceremony at the Police Headquarters, Abuja described them as patriotic Nigerians.
He further charged them to thank God for favouring them with life and good health while calling on them not to fail to always give their advise whenever the occasion arises.
He said he particularly came on his capacity and on the directive of Governor Okorocha to cheer the former AIG, Mr. Hilary Opara and other Imolites with their counterparts from other parts of the country.
The number two citizen of Imo State showered encomium on the officers for their patriotic contributions in keeping Nigeria a united, safe and secure entity.
He therefore charged the young Nigerian Police officers to emulate the out going senior officers especially in the area of commitment and devotion to service. He further advised them to render service with love for the country while discharging their constitutional duties.
He concluded by praying for God’s amazing grace upon them and their families.
