The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, setting out new dates for screening, primaries, and other internal processes.

In a statement released on Monday and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the APC said the updated timetable complies with the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the Electoral Act 2026, and the guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The announcement was also confirmed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the party, the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms began on April 25 and will end on May 2, 2026, while submission of completed forms is scheduled to close on May 4.

Screening of aspirants across all categories—State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential—will take place from May 6 to May 9, 2026. Appeals for State Assembly and House of Representatives aspirants are fixed for May 12 to May 13.

Primary elections will commence on May 15 with House of Representatives contests and will run through various categories, concluding with the presidential primary on May 23, 2026.

The APC also outlined the cost of forms for aspirants. Presidential hopefuls are to pay ₦30 million for Expression of Interest and ₦70 million for Nomination forms, while fees for other positions vary accordingly.

The party added that female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will receive concessions, paying only the Expression of Interest fee and 50 percent of the Nomination fee.
