The Nollywood film industry is in mourning following the death of actor Solomon Akiyesi, who reportedly passed away in his sleep.
The sad news was confirmed by both the current and former Presidents of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Yakub Abubakar and Dr. Emeka Rollas-Ejezie, during separate phone conversations.
According to his wife, the actor died on Sunday.
Akiyesi was known for his roles in several films, including Desperate Ladies, Pretty Liars, Bridge of Contract, and Heart of a Saint. His contributions to the industry have left a lasting impression on colleagues and fans alike.
