“A Mother’s Perspective: My Experience with Annie Idibia”
As 2face Idibia’s mother, I feel it’s essential to share my side of the story regarding his marriage to Annie. Despite knowing about my son’s five children from previous relationships, I warmly welcomed Annie into our family.
Initially, everything seemed fine, and I was thrilled to see my son settling down with Annie, who had been his partner during his rise to fame. However, over time, I noticed a change in her behavior.
Whenever I wanted to visit, Annie would claim they wouldn’t be around and promise to inform me when they returned. When I needed help, she’d respond saying they were struggling too. I attempted to mediate when my son faced issues with other women, but Annie resisted my efforts.
Annie falsely accused me of supporting my son, and our relationship deteriorated. She even went as far as insulting me, calling me a witch and a wicked woman. My family, including 2face’s siblings and cousins, faced similar insults.
Recently, I learned about 2face and Annie’s separation and impending divorce. I urged my son to reconsider and work on resolving their issues. I’m deeply concerned about Annie, who is currently seeking treatment for drug abuse.
I pray for her recovery and hope they can reconcile for the sake of their children.”
