Popular socialite and businesswoman, Chief (Mrs) Khadijah Adebisi Edionseri, otherwise known as Cash Madam, has died at 89.
The Nation learnt that the octogenarian who was the Iya Sunnah of Egbaland, Yewaland and Ogun State, died on Sunday after a brief illness.
A statement by one of the Mama’s children, Dr. Adebayo Adebowale, reads: “With deep gratitude to Allah for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Princess Kadijat Abike Adebisi Edionseri (née Elegbede), who returned to her Creator on 5th January 2025 at the age of 89, following a brief illness.”
He described her as a beacon of grace, dignity, and faith.
According to him, Mama’s profound impact on the family and community will remain indelible.
“Her life was a shining example of grace, dignity, and unwavering faith. Princess Edionseri touched the lives of many through her wisdom, kindness, and dedication to both her family and the community,” he added.
