The Convener of the May 7 World Praise Day event, Deacon Banjo Omole, has sent congratulatory messages to President-elect,Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Lagos state Governor-elect,Babajide Sanwo-Olu,on their successes in the the just concluded general elections.
Deacon Omole, who’s also the chairman of the Ifako-Ijaiye local government branch of the All Progressive Congress, APC, expressed delight at the emergence of Senator Tinubu in the keenly contested election saying, the Jagaban proved his mettle in the contest.
‘It is very clear that Ashiwaju is the popular choice of Nigerians, given the overwhelming mandate he received across the country’, according to the Deacon.
He said the in-coming APC government is fully prepared to tackle all the existential challenges facing the country.
Omole, who’s also a Deacon of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,RCCG,Victory Parish,Iju Road, Ifako-Ijaiye local government area, Lagos, said Governor Sanwo-Olu’s election is a an endorsement of his massive development of all aspects of Lagos state in the last four years, adding that greater strides lie ahead for the action Governor.
Deacon Omole said,all APC supporters and well meaning Nigerians should rally round all elected officials to ensure the unity and collective prosperity of the country.
