He said that the training would also equip the beneficiaries on how best to source and generate funds to sustain the projects.

The General Manager stressed the need for maintenance of facilities within the immediate society such as Clinics, Town Halls, Markets and Schools among others in order to” keep them in good condition continuously, extend the life span of such Facilities, prevent them from burning, vandalization and collapse”

Momoh commended various communities and groups in the state for their initiative to embark on self-help projects that are of immense beneficial in improving their living standard and urged them to sustain the tempo.

He also assured the Communities of the determination of his agency to continue to support them in getting more projects executed for them.

“We are still working hard on how to get more money from government to give more support towards the provision of community development projects” Momoh promised.

Participating Communities and Groups were trained in basic health, environmental sanitation, water, electrification and manual facility maintenance by engineers of various specialisation drawn from government departments.
