Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has approved the appointment of new Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, after the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House in Lokoja on Wednesday.
The new appointees according to the statement are; Mr. Adesayo Ismail, Special Adviser to the Governor on Water Resources. Others include; Pharm. Abdul Clement Hamidu Special Adviser on Health Matters Adam Tahir Abdullahi Special Adviser on Rural Development Ibrahim Jibrin Special Adviser on Urban Development.
Others are Abah Kizito Arome Special Adviser on Community Relations Ahmed Umar Bolori Special Adviser on Public Relations Halimotu Amodu Special Adviser on Pension Matters Abdulkareem Siyaka Special Adviser on Finance ,Economy and Investment Isah Yunusa Danlami Special Adviser on Sanitation and Emergency Management.
The SSAs are Abereoran Olusegun Elvis SSA on Public Relations Halidu Adejoh Usman SSA on Multillateral Mamman Mohammed Sanusi SSA on Transportation and Logistics Mohammed Kekere Ovanja SSA on Emergency Management Aminu Mustapha SSA Non Indigene Eng. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf SSA on Mineral Resources Amande Msughter Solomon SSA Intergovernmental Relations Hajiya Aishat Gimba SSA to the Governor on Civil Society and NGO, Ibrahim Danladi Ohida SSA on Pension Matters and Kemi Olawumi SSA on Cultural Integration.

Meanwhile, the Governor has relieved Imam Salih Adam, Special Adviser on Sanitation and Emergency Management of his duties with immediate effect. All appointments and redeployments are with immediate effect.
