The abducted Council Chairman of Yagba West LGA in Kogi State, Hon. Pius Kolawole has been freed by his captors.
Kolawole was abducted five days ago while returning to Kogi State from Ilorin, Kwara State.
A reliable source said the Chairman was welcomed and received by sympathizers and family members in his home town Egbe amidst wild jubilation.
He said the Council Chairman is hale and hearty and has reunited with his family and teeming supporters supporters.
There was no immediate confirmation by the Police Public Relations Officer, Williams Aya as he could not be reached on phone.
