DELSU student drowns in Abraka Beach

A 200 level student in the Department of Chemistry, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, simply identified as Divine has reportedly drowned while on a swimming spree in a popular beach in the university community.

Sources said that Divine who had gone to Voustapin Beach popularly called ‘N100 Beach’ on Sunday alongside his friends to swim, got drowned in the process.

It was gathered that while they were catching fun, they suddenly discovered that Divine was nowhere to be found again.

They thus went in search of him only to discover that he was already  dead after drowning.

Disclosing the sad incident to journalists, a relative of Divine, who would not want his name in print said that the parents of the deceased have been notified of the ugly development.

Spokesnan for Delta State Police Command, DSP Edafe Bright could not be reached for confirmation of the incident as of the time of filing this report.
