Tony Ukasanya and his Lies

Chief Tony Ukasanya, former chairman of PDP in Abia, staunch Abia APGA governorship adviser and new APC migrant has joined the league of new recruits and barefaced liars in Abia.
This came to the fore through an interview with Chuks Onuoha on the platform of the main opposition newspaper, the sun on Monday October 3rd, 2016 page 44.
Surprisingly, Ukasanya who served for 29 months in the T A administration has recently been recruited to speak for the few disgruntled losers in an unholy alliance as one of the liars.
As against his many lies, Abia State Ministry of Health had the biggest push under Orji and had testimonies from far and wide. Ukasanya backed Ogah in his recent challenge in court but Ogah’s elder brother was part of the huge health delivery as commissioner of health. Dr. Okechukwu Ogah, a born again Christian of the redeemed Church extraction and reputable cardiologist is still alive to tell the truth.
The former Minister of Heath Prof. Chukwu, in the Jonathan administration visited Abia in not less than three times commissioning projects and recommending more. MTN, the telecommunication behemoth partnered with Abia in the greatest number of eye surgeries, issuing free eye glasses ever witnessed in the history of the state.
As Dr Ogah once testified, the primary, secondary and tertiary health sectors under Gov. Orji were revolutionary and witnessed visitations of local, federal and international bodies in acknowledgement and endorsements. Before that, the PHC reached all time high, the secondary got greatly improved with 100 bed Hospitals in 9 LGAs with neighboring states surging to Abia with people in ambulances at the sophisticated diagnostic centers that saw dialysis machines for the first time.
Two spectacular cases told the whole story. A Nana [ North American nurses and Midwives} chieftain bore witness when she visited with her group telling how her mother was diagnosed and cured from medical data from Amachara General Hospital that was updated by Ochendo. Col. Emeka Ananaba, serving Deputy Gov. to Ochendo had a successful eye operation in the eye center in the Diagnostic center. Could all these have been hoaxes? Too many lies by them, isn’t it?
He faulted the selection process of the present Gov. Contrary to all these, the present Gov. went through a faultless selection process from the party primaries to the election. The PDP met and zoned to Abia South and ratified by the stake holders and Ikpeazu went through a highly contested primary, a structure that is being contested by Ogah whom Ukasanya is still backing. If Ogah was not part of the primaries, why is he in court today?
He further claimed that Orji never built a single road. That’s baloney. While amusing Kalu, they were in the house of one of the construction contractors who claims a huge debt, so what did he work on? What about PUMECO, Star Construction, BAWAS TIME CONSTRUCTION, CHOMEN, WORLDWIDE ENVIRONMENTAL, Chikwe Tech Construction, what were they doing in Abia? Ukasanya claimed a 68 million debt, what did he do? Build pit toilets?
There is the parlance in Igbo language that when two fighters defer to throwing sands instead of changing blows that they are tired.
Chief Ukasanya fought aggressively through supporting Otti, joined the Ogah challenge and now, the shameful Sun Newspaper ambassador- now physically casting sand, he should retire into something else meaningful than being a political tout.
Evidently, Senator Orji has moved ahead and out of the reach of failed politicians
These gossipy snippets are distractions for Dr Ikpeazu and Abians. The Abia electorate should be left to advance and enjoy the dividends of good governance as intended by the elected governor.
