A fresh accusation has surfaced against social media personality and alleged rapist, Odogwu Asaba and with a Port Harcourt-based lady claiming he lured her to Asaba after meeting her on Facebook, had a sexual encounter with her, and failed to pay the ₦100,000 they allegedly agreed upon.
In a video circulating on social media, the lady alleged that Odogwu Asaba contacted her through Facebook and invited her to Asaba for a meeting. According to her, they agreed on a payment of ₦100,000 before the encounter.
She claimed that after they had sex, he asked her to leave, assuring her that the agreed sum would be transferred to her account later. However, she alleged that no payment was made and that she was subsequently blocked from contacting him.
The woman further alleged that the circumstances of her experience were similar to those described by another woman who had earlier made allegations against the social media personality.
The latest claim comes amid heightened public scrutiny surrounding Odogwu Asaba following previous allegations made against him. Earlier, a woman accused him of rape, an allegation that generated widespread reactions online. Separately, another woman who had reportedly accused him of misconduct was later reported to have died by suicide, prompting renewed public debate and calls for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding both incidents.
The new allegations have not been independently verified, and Odogwu Asaba has not publicly responded to the latest claims. The allegations remain unproven, and no court has determined his liability in connection with them. Authorities have yet to announce whether the latest accusation is the subject of an official investigation.
