Paris Saint-Germain took firm control of their UEFA Champions League round-of-16 tie with a 5–2 victory over Chelsea at the Parc des Princes.
Bradley Barcola opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a powerful strike before Malo Gusto equalised for Chelsea with a low shot. Ousmane Dembélé restored PSG’s lead before halftime.
Chelsea drew level again early in the second half when Enzo Fernández finished from close range.
The match turned after a costly mistake by Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jørgensen, whose misplaced pass allowed Vitinha to score and put PSG back in front.
Substitute Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then sealed the win with two late goals, including a superb curling effort from the edge of the box and a close-range finish in stoppage time.
Despite competing well for much of the match, Chelsea struggled defensively in the closing stages and now face a difficult task overturning a three-goal deficit in the second leg at Stamford Bridge.
