Serenity Royale Hospital has distanced itself from a circulating report alleging that Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mrs. Regina Nwoko (née Daniels), underwent a “mid-term home detox” under the hospital’s care.
In a disclaimer issued on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and signed by the hospital’s management, Serenity Royale described the document as fake and unauthorized, stressing that it did not originate from the hospital.
“Our attention has been drawn to a post (on an alleged mid-term home detox report) being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Mrs. Nwoko Regina,” the statement read. “We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post containing classified information did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”

The hospital reiterated its commitment to professional ethics and medical confidentiality, warning against the circulation of fabricated medical documents.
The controversy comes amid a heated online exchange involving Regina’s elder brother who accused Ned Nwoko of allegedly sponsoring fake documents, including a falsified medical report, marriage certificate, and voter’s card purportedly linked to Regina.
In a strongly worded post, Sweezzy claimed that the voter’s card in question was printed “in Ned Nwoko’s sitting room at Ugboko,” and alleged that Regina’s authentic documents bear her maiden name, Ojeogwu. He further asserted that Regina never attended any marriage registry ceremony with Nwoko.
The social media commentator also accused the politician of manipulating the actress emotionally using claims of ill health, alleging episodes of abuse within the home. He denied rumors linking him or any of his siblings to cocaine use, describing the allegation as “ridiculously outrageous.”
Directing a challenge to Nwoko, Sweezzy wrote: “Quick question for Mr. Ned Nwoko—what samples were given to the hospital and how were they collected? Or is this your result?”
The dispute has since drawn wide reactions online, with many calling for restraint from both sides while urging authorities to probe the source of the fake documents.
As the situation continues to unfold, Serenity Royale Hospital has urged the public to rely only on verified information and to refrain from sharing unconfirmed reports.
