Edo State unveils Practical Governance Magazine to showcase Okpebholo’s vision and achievements

The Edo State Liaison Office has unveiled the Practical Governance Magazine, a flagship publication reflecting Governor Monday Okpebholo’s commitment to people-centered and result-driven leadership in Edo State.

The launch ceremony, held at the Edo State Liaison Office in Abuja, was hosted by Barr. Peter O. Abulu, Director-General of the Liaison Office.

The maiden edition of the magazine chronicles Governor Okpebholo’s remarkable strides within his first 100 days in office, highlighting his ambitious vision and actionable governance approach.

The second edition focuses on the transformative agenda of Her Excellency, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, whose passion for empowering women and girls shines through her initiatives. In an exclusive interview, Mrs. Anani shared her vision for an Edo State free of gender-based violence and human trafficking, where girls are encouraged to pursue education and acquire skills for a brighter future.

Speaking at the launch, Mrs. Anani emphasized: “Edo State will be a better place, free of gender-based violence and human trafficking. Our girls are encouraged to go to school and learn skills, paving the way for a brighter future.”

For her humanitarian efforts, Mrs. Anani was recognized as a “Hero of Humanitarian,” an honor she humbly received while reaffirming her dedication to improving the lives of women and girls in Edo State.

Barr. Abulu, who also serves as the publisher of the magazine, explained that the publication is designed to showcase the Governor’s developmental strides while also celebrating Mrs. Anani’s contributions to the welfare of Edo women and girls.

The event was graced by key stakeholders, including Mrs. Edith Imoisili, Deputy Director and Editor, and Mrs. Isaac Edith, Human Resources Manager, among others.

Through Practical Governance Magazine, Edo State seeks to spotlight its vision, achievements, and the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo and his team in driving positive change across the state.
