The All Progressive Congress(APC)has been accused of importing thugs for next Saturday governorship election in Edo state.
The thugs who are alleged to be mostly from Kogi and Imo states are meant to disrupt the election.
Edo Collectives, a socio-political pressure group said the APC is determined to cause confusion at the polling centers.
Ese Ipboba, the spokesperson for the group said the same thugs employed for these states are already in the state with a mandate of their mission.
Ese said the Edolites are more determined this time around to ensure a peaceful election comes September 21.
She said Edo people would do everything to protect their votes and are ready for the thugs.
“We will not allow them to come and disrupt the election. And we shall not give them the latitude to write results without recourse to the electorates.”
