The PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has created a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management and announced changes to the leadership of its Youth Mobilisation and Women Mobilisation directorates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The council said the changes were designed to strengthen its organisational structure, improve coordination and enhance operational efficiency following the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council.
Under the new arrangement, Dr. Farouk Adamu Aliyu has been appointed Director of the newly created Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello will serve as Co-Director.
The council also announced changes in the leadership of its Youth Mobilisation Directorate, with Mr. Ayo Olawande appointed Director and Dr. Dayo Israel named Deputy Director.
Similarly, Dr. Mary Aille Idele has been appointed Director of the Women Mobilisation Directorate, with Dr. Betta Edu as Deputy Director and Hon. Imaan Suleman as Secretary.
According to the council, the appointments and adjustments are part of efforts to establish a well-coordinated, inclusive and results-driven campaign structure capable of mobilising Nigerians in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The council particularly highlighted the importance of mobilising young people and women as preparations intensify for the 2027 presidential election.
It expressed confidence that the appointees would deploy their experience, commitment and organisational capabilities to advance the objectives of their respective directorates.
The statement further urged the appointees to work collaboratively with other directorates and relevant campaign structures to ensure effective implementation of the council’s mobilisation and campaign strategies.
The statement was signed by Hope Uzodimma, Secretary of the PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
The latest changes signal further organisational adjustments within the ruling All Progressives Congress’ presidential campaign machinery as it prepares for the next general election.
