The National and International President of the People’s Club of Nigeria International (PCNI), Chief/Barr. Fidelis O. Onyebueke, has appointed Chief/Dr. Acho Orabuchi as a member of the club’s national Annual General Meeting (AGM) Committee.

The appointment was announced on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

According to a statement issued following the appointment, Orabuchi was selected in recognition of his leadership qualities, professional experience and contributions to the development of the organisation.

The statement described Orabuchi as a “resourceful asset” to the club, noting that he had demonstrated leadership in various fields and established a pedigree that had earned him the confidence of the organisation’s leadership.

The AGM Committee is responsible for planning and executing activities for the club’s Annual General Meeting, which is held at the PCNI International Headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The annual gathering brings together members and delegates of the organisation from across Nigeria and the Diaspora.

The club said the AGM would provide an opportunity for members to deliberate on initiatives aimed at promoting its core values of “Unity, Love, and Service.”

Onyebueke said the organisation would use this year’s AGM to develop and pursue constructive projects capable of making a tangible difference in society.

He said particular attention would be given to initiatives designed to improve the lives of less privileged members of society, including orphans and widows struggling to raise their children.

“We are going to use this year’s AGM to propose and work on constructive projects that would enhance humanity,” Onyebueke said.

He added that the club would “aggressively find ways to tangibly uplift the lives of the less privileged in our society.”

According to him, the commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society is consistent with the organisation’s broader philosophy of service to humanity.

The appointment of Orabuchi to the AGM Committee is expected to strengthen the planning and coordination of this year’s gathering as the PCNI seeks to translate its principles of unity, love and service into practical community-oriented initiatives.
