President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced a three-week vacation in Europe as part of his annual leave.
The President departed Abuja on Sunday, with London in the United Kingdom listed as his first destination.
The State House disclosed the development in a statement issued on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, Tinubu is expected to spend three weeks on what was described as a working vacation before returning to Nigeria.
Upon his return, the President is expected to resume official engagements and join the intensified political activities ahead of the January 2027 presidential election.
Tinubu’s departure comes as political parties and candidates across the country begin preparations for what is expected to be a highly competitive 2027 general election campaign.
