Although Brock Lesnar has announced his retirement from in-ring competition, a new report suggests WWE officials believe “The Beast Incarnate” could still make another appearance for the company.
Lesnar confirmed on The Pat McAfee Show that he was retiring after losing to Oba Femi at SummerSlam 2026. However, according to reports, several senior WWE officials expect the former WWE and UFC heavyweight champion to be involved in some capacity at WrestleMania 43, scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Even if he does not return to active competition, WWE is reportedly considering inducting Lesnar into the 2027 WWE Hall of Fame. Sources quoted in the report said they find it difficult to imagine Lesnar walking away from the company without one final appearance during WrestleMania weekend in Saudi Arabia.
This is not the first time Lesnar has hinted at retirement. After losing to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, he left his gloves in the ring, sparking speculation that he was ending his career. WWE later moved his profile to its alumni section before he eventually returned and competed until SummerSlam 2026, where he again announced his retirement.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque also cast doubt on whether Lesnar’s retirement would be permanent. Speaking after SummerSlam, Levesque said Lesnar has always made his own decisions and suggested fans should wait to see whether the former champion changes his mind.
For now, Lesnar insists his wrestling career is over. However, with senior WWE figures reportedly expecting him to play a role at WrestleMania 43, speculation continues that the legendary superstar may not have made his final appearance inside a WWE ring.
