Philip Shuaibu has no political relevance in the present Edo state politics.
This was the summation by Edo Concerned Youths Council, of his unsubstantiated allegations that the PDP wanted him dead
“It is clear that Philip Shuaibu’s interview represents a biased and unconvincing narrative. Despite making serious allegations, he failed to provide any tangible evidence to support his claims of Edo State government involvement in blocking airport gates.”
Ms Ese Iyobosa who in a statement by the council said Shuaibu narrative relied on unverified sources and hearsay, which can not be taken as credible evidence.
She said Shuaibu’s account presented a one-sided story, ignoring potential alternative explanations or contradictory facts.
Continuing, she said as a wannabe member of the APC, Shuaibu’s statements are motivated by political interests rather than a genuine concern for truth.
“His claims contradict established facts, further eroding his credibility.
The group therefore urged serious minded Edo electorates to ignore Shuaibu as he is out for political relevance.
She said no independent witnesses or credible sources have come forward to corroborate Shuaibu’s version of events.
“By making unsubstantiated claims, Shuaibu may be attempting to divert attention from his own party’s shortcomings or controversies. He is engaged in a failed false flag strategy,” the statement added.
