Nigerian universities may experience another round of prolonged closure as the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) is considering a nationwide strike to protest the absence of governing councils in federal universities and other unresolved issues with the government.
The union reminds Nigerians that the government dissolved the councils last May and urges them to hold the government accountable for any protest action taken.
This was disclosed today in Abuja by the leadership of the union.
