Insurance Scheme: Kogi CP Presents Cheques to 25 Deceased Police Families

The Commissioner of Police Kogi State Police Command, CP Bethrand C. Onuoha, psc on Wednesday, presented cheques worth N39,042,593.07k to 25 Deceased Police families on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM

The CP Spoke through a statement made available to Journalists in Lokoja by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya.

The CP while presenting the cheques disclosed that, the gestures was part of the Group Life Assurance and Group Personal Accident Insurance Schemes aimed at improving the welfare of the families of deceased Police Officers and to also support Police Officers who became accident victims while carrying out their duty. And also to encourage other Officers in active service to be diligent.

The CP further stated that, the Nigeria Police Force recognizes the sacrifices made by the deceased Officers as well as those who are accident victims to secure the Nation.

He urged the beneficiaries not to misuse the money but make judicious use of it for the betterment of their families.

The beneficiaries appreciated the IGP for the gestures and promised to make use of the money for the benefits of their families.
