The Mbaise People’s Congress (MPC), an umbrella body of Mbaise Professionals world-wide last Saturday honoured one of their illustrious sons, Chief (Sir) Ernest Chibu Enweruzor, Ogbaturenyi Mbaise, a renowned business man.
The event which held at the Centre Hotels Limited, Airport Road, Ajao Estate Lagos, was a gathering of who is who in Mbaise.
In a letter to Sir Enweruzor before the event, MPC said:”In deciding those to earn these awards this year, your esteemed-self became a natural choice for out of dint of hard work and dedication you have become a successful man and leader in all ramifications, and the generation of Mbaise youths have to learn from you that doing genuine business pays.
The group said the award is periodically giving to worthy “sons and daughters of Mbaise Land who have distinguished themselves in their various callings and professions in life, to not only celebrate them but to also use them as role models for our youths to emulate and demonstrate to them that hard work, dedication and steadfastness have their rewards.”
Speaking to our Correspondent after receiving the award, Sir Enweruzor said the recognition by MPC means more dedication and hard work and will fuel his passion and drive to continue making a positive impact on Mbaise land and Nigeria in general.
He also congratulated other awardees. He said: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations on receiving this award alongside you. Your exceptional efforts and commitment have not only earned you this well-deserved recognition but have also set a standard for excellence.
Your dedication and contributions to Mbaise have made a significant impact, and it’s truly inspiring to witness your achievements. This award is a testament to your hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence.”
