In a meeting held on Saturday with Kogi APC gubernatorial aspirants, and other stakeholders in the party, Our Correspondent reliably gathered that the governor promised fair play field in Kogi APC governorship primaries.

He advised all aspirants to warn their followers and supporters on their actions and comments, stressing that there are modes of primaries, namely direct, indirect, and consensus.

Governor Bello stated that he would start consulting all the candidates from today, and the party would speak.

He warned those going to court to desist and urged all those in attendance to be products of the system and not mess with the system when the choice is made.

In the meeting, the governor also stated that he has a good relationship with the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and hence, there are enough positions to go around — whoever wins will carry others along.
