Following the petrol tanker fire disaster which claimed houses and other valuable property of residents of Ganaja village in Ajaokuta local government area of Kogi, four days ago, the All Progressives Congress Flagbearer for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Abdulraheem Sanni has promised to provide succor for victims.
The APC flagbearer who made the pledge when he visited the scene of the accident, said the process to offer support will begin with having an inventory and data of the affected persons and properties.
He said that the gesture is aimed at giving assistance to the victims to enable them rebuild their lost shops and other valuable property.
The APC flagbearer who described the incident as unfortunate, however, thanked God that no human casualty was recorded.
Abdulraheem Sanni urged citizens to always make safety a priority, said the incident is avoidable if people are conscious of dangers against life existence.
He advised motorists plying Ajaokuta Federal highway to ensure that their vehicles are in good condition as well as maintaining traffic rules and regulations.
