Kogi Commissioner of Police Presents N62m Cheques to Families of Deceased Officers

The Commissioner of Police Kogi State Police Command, CP Edward Egbuka psc has presented cheques worth N62,622, 641.84 on behalf of Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman psc to the families of Police Officers who died in active service.

A statement by the Command’s PPRO, SP William Aya on Thursday, said that the gesture is part of IGP’s “Group Life Assurance” aimed at improving the welfare of the families of the deceased Police Officers.

The Commissioner of Police while presenting the cheques, appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman psc for assisting in reducing the hardship faced by the families of the deceased Police Officers.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money for the betterment of their families.

The beneficiaries, thanked the IGP for the gesture and promised to make use of the the money for the benefits of their families.
