Easter: Kogi CP Lead Visibility Patrol to Combat Crime

In a bid to ensure crime free Easter celebrations, the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Edward .C Egbuka, Led a team of Officers on a confidence boosting and visibility patrol along the major highways across the State.

The intensive patrol were carried out to assess the deployment of personnel and operational assets to reassure the public of the Command’s determination to provide a peaceful and crime-free environment for all.

The Commissioner through the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Aya said that, he embarked the patrol to assess the level of compliance on the directives given to the Divisional Police Officers and their supervising Area Commanders to take charge of their area of responsibility.

He charged them to redouble their efforts and contain any criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the festive period to perpetrate their evil acts.

The Commissioner reiterated his commitment to work in synergy with other security Commanders to provide adequate security for all in Kogi State.
