The remains of ThankGod, the younger brother to Amb. Gabriel Onoja, President of Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation, was on Monday, laid to rest at his country home Inele Ugoh in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi amidst tears and wailing.

The late ThankGod Onoja reportedly died on Monday after a protracted illness at Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital in Ekiti state.

Bereaved Onoja, who spoke after ThankGod’s interment, promised to immortalize his late brother for the selfless services he (ThankGod) had rendered to humanity.

Onoja explained, “We started Enemona Foundation together and went through thick and thin together to ensure that the foundation attain its mission and vision.”

“I will ensure that ThankGod’s portrait is placed in all our offices as a way of immortalizing him” he stated.

The Philanthropist urged youth in the community to emulate the life of struggle exhibited by late ThankGod, who died at 29 years but left indelible mark too difficult to fill.

David Onoja, the father of the deceased, who managed to speak in a very low voice, described his late son as a “humble, intelligent and respectful person,” who love and care for the entire family and the community at large.

“I have never thought I will one day bury any of my children, , but it has happened and there is nothing I can do than to seek solace in God.

“Thank God was an obedient son, so deared to my heart because up till now I am yet to come to terms with his death,” PA Onoja said.

Also speaking, the deceased younger sister, Faith David Ojonugwa, who spoke amidst tears, said she would definitely missed her late brother’s advise and counselling.

According to her, “he taught me to always be truthful and stand by my words.”

“He also taught me to always be committed to whatever I am doing that will benefit me in life.

“He continuously warned me not to disappoint the family as the only daughter of David Onoja’s family. We love him , but God loved him most” she lamented.
