Two Passengers were roasted while fourteen other had burnt injuries Thursday evening in Lokoja, following an accident that led to burning of eighteen seater Hiace Bus at the Nataco Area in the capital city.
The destination of the bus and where it is traveling to is yet to be ascertained as at time of this report but eye witness said they were traveling to Zamfara.
Some of the passengers were narrowly rescued in the inferno and have been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.
The number of casualty is yet to be ascertained as many of the passengers got burnt in the incident but are in FMC Lokoja and other facilities within Lokoja.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, but a rescue team of the Federal Road Safety Corps have been deployed to control traffic and rescue those injured .
