The Ata’Igala Designate, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche will be presented Staff of Office, March 4th, by the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.
His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche who is the 28th Ata’Igala succeeded his immediate late predicessor, Dr. Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni who died early last year.
In a press release signed by Chief Sylvester Onoja, Chairman Central Planning Committee for the ceremony, which was made available to Journalists in Lokoja yesterday, said that the Ceremony is slated for Friday, 4th March, 2022.
The committee therefore, called on the Chairmen and members of all the constituted Coronation Committees to redouble their efforts in their respective roles.
The Committee chairman also beckoned on all sons and daughters of the Igala nation, both at home and in the diaspora, to generously contribute towards boosting the Central Planning Committee’s capacity to deliver a resounding royal event.
