PASTORS WHO NEGLECT THE MESSAGE OF GENUINE SALVATION, HAVE A PLACE IN ETERNITY RESERVED FOR THEM.Time will tell.
THE
CHURCH MUST NOT BE PART OF A FAILED SOCIETY, through prosperity messages from pastors.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after ,they have erred from the faith , and pierced themselves through many sorrows” 1 Timothy 6:10.
I WILL NEVER BE BROKE.
A video of a popular pentecostal Pastor (name withheld). once went viral on social media. Just a short clip where he said:
“I will never be broke in my life”.
The youths listened to it and they got inspired—They want to make it by all means and at all cost.Some Pastors should not drag the society into a deeper and darker mess!!!
“Ye are the light of the world…..Let your light so shine before men , that they may see your good works , and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16.
The volume of prosperity preaching and get rich syndrome messages, by some pentecostal pastors are becoming too loud for comfort.
It is playing a key role in shaping and modeling a society such as Nigeria especially the youths, who are into ritual killing to be rich.
“Ye are the salt of the earth : but if the salt have lost his savour ‘ wherewith shall it be salted?it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men”Matthew 5:13.
As salt is valuable to give flavor and to preserve from corruption,
Pastors through their messages, believers in general and the church, must be godly examples in the world.”Godliness with contentment is gain”.
PASTORS WHO ARE TRULY STANDING.
Pastors must avoid preaching messages about money, that is adding to moral decay and corruption evident in the society.
For those pastors who are still standing and preaching the undiluted gospel,this is the beginning ,and the time to watch and pray because the days of evil are here with us.
It is not by cursing them from the pulpit.
If you have identified them , you should approach the issue with wisdom and boldness as a shepherd- counselor.
Cursing them will rather worsen the situation.They may decide to move to another church.
Appropriate scriptures must be applied and let the Holy Spirit do His work.
TEENAGERS AND RITUAL KILLING.
“Redeeming the time because the days are evil”Ephesians 5:16.
Our youths, instead of burning the midnight oil ,
in order to acquire good education and succeed, in a knowledge driven economy, are now seriously into money rituals. Teenagers are now beheading and burning, severing heads of teenage-girlfriends to get rich quick.
Who and what will save this society from perdition except the church?
“….A city that is set on a hill cannot be his” Matthew 5:14.
YOUTHS WITH HUMONGOUS SUM IN THE CHURCH.
I put it to many Nigerians, that we all have a role to play in this, but the church as my constituency has a major role.
How can pastors see a young boy whom you know is not working, with massive wealth and cars , paying humongous sum of money as tithes and offerings very regularly ,without questioning his source of income, have we all lost our minds because of money? And you still pretend to have the Holy Ghost ,
with fake annointing.
How can pastors be praising them?, calling them big names and giving them big titles in the church?
The rotten societal values should not be reflecting in the life of believers or tolerated in the church of the living God who is of a purer eyes to behold iniquity.
“Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity….”Habakkuk 1:13.
THE STORY OF A YOUNG BOY.
Somebody told a story of a boy in his neighborhood , who just finished O,levels and didn’t bother to further his education. Suddenly he brought home a clean car ,and moved the parents out of the face-me-and-face you room.
How can such people, if they are believers, not question his source of wealth.Why sharing such testimonies in the church.Who do they think that God is?
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”Hebrews 10:31.
I want to tell such “Christians”that they are eating and celebrating their funerals.
We are told that tortoise and bitter kola are now expressly expensive in the market because of ritual killing.
DON’T BLAME THEM.
Pastors should prayerfully preach against and condemn any of these evil—yahoo,cultism, ritualist, robbery etc.
It ridiculous hearing some “Christians” tell people “don’t blame them”,
it’s the government fault”,which Government?
I’m really afraid of what will become of the next generation, if the church refuses to play their God-sent role.
CELEBRATING A FETISH GENERATION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.
How can pastors be celebrating a fetish generation in the church and glorifying illicit wealth without trace through prosperity preaching.
Now that our society and some parents are accepting and encouraging internet fraud ,as a way of life for the youths,pastors must live up to God’s expectation through their messages.
How can Christian parents be pacifying their children’s wrongdoing, instead of correcting them because of the messages they are hearing from carnal pastors.
It is saddening that these pastors are losing all that make societies function well, morally, in the past .
The thrust of their messages have shifted to making money , money, money, hence the desperation of their youthful members to have money is so high,so that they can belong to a class in the church.
POLITICIANS AND PASTORS.
Politicians are looting,Pastors are encouraging ritual killing through preaching prosperity without discouraging the youths from dubious transactions.
The youths are listening and going into ritual killing to make it.Habaa!
If the society is no longer asking how people are making money,
Pastors as God’s representatives must ask.
Pastors cannot be celebrating anyone who can buy what they can not buy.
Churches should lay less emphasis on money.
MONEY DISTRIBUTION IN SOME CHURCHES.
In some churches,all the money go to Headquarters of the church,
while local churches are neglected,
and all sorts of reasons are given that doesn’t hold water.The youths in the local church,
as a result, want to have money by whatever means to support their pastor in the local church, and to make the local church good for fellowship.
The local pastor, as a result ,may not bother to ask questions from the youths, who are supporting local church building projects, as long as he is receiving humongous building offerings.
Money , money and money,we must see the issue of money as a problem for the the church today and address it as such.
PASTORS SHOULD STOP PUTTING PRESSURES.
Proprietors and Proprietesses of Christian schools, all places of worship, the family,they all need to wake up.
Pastors should stop putting pressures stylishly on the members to make whatever church contributions.
The decline will only get worse ,unless we get our heads out of the “sin of prosperity” .Who and what will save this society from present perdition?–the church.
We must start discussing ritual killings, kidnapping, and cannibalism at all levels. Special committees should be set up to interrogate the youths and questions asked.
RESPECT FOR PERSONS WITH WEALTH .
Pastors of various churches should give special backing to constituted authorities, through clear messages on worship service days and give ritual killing a good fight.
This madness should be a thing of the past.
Nowadays, people give respect to those with money in the church ,even within a family circles.
The one that has money is listened to, more than others, even when they are speaking jargon, when issues are discussed in the church or family. This is why the youths want to make money by any means,after all ,the society today believe in ‘the end justifying the means’.
COMEDIANS AND THE CHURCH.
With no verifiable source of income, yet many youths are living large.
Friends, parents,churches, groups and individuals cheer them up.Pastors use them to right off bills for comedians who come to entertain the worldly-minded in the house of God.
They forget that:
“Our God is a consuming fire”Hebrews 12:29.
Those Pastors who are supporting these vices ,
through their messages are also ritual killers
” …. neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure” 1 Timothy 5:22.
