The attack on traditional rulers in Imo State has taken a new turn following the kidnap of two others and a youth leader yesterday.
Some yet-to-be identified gunmen yesterday invaded Ihitte Ihube in the Okigwe Local Government Area and whisked away Eze Acho Ndukwe of Amagu Ihube and Eze Paul Ogbu of Ihitte Ihube
Also abducted was the youth leader of Umuololo- Okigwe, whose name is yet to be ascertained in the early morning attack before daybreak.
Eze Ndukwe who is considered influential is the current chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers for Okigwe Local Government Area.
Also attacked was the country home of a community leader in Umulolo Okigwe, Fabian Nwosu, though they met his absence.
A source who pleaded anonymity said the gunmen arrived in different Hilux vehicles and shot sporadically and kidnapped the two monarchs and the youth leader.
