Katsina Police arrest suspect in murder of Commissioner For Science, Technology

The Katsina State Police command has arrested a suspect in the assassination of the state Commissioner For Science, Technology, Dr. Rabe Nasir.

Katsina Police Commissioner, Sanusi Buba, confirmed the incident on Thursday.
The commissioner was assassinated in his residence located at Fatima Shema Housing Estate in the Katsina metropolis.
He was reportedly shot after prayer in his residence here in Fatima Shema Estate. He was living alone.
Dr Nasir was educated at the University of Abuja, University of Kansas Lawrence, Bayero University Kano, and Government Secondary School Giwa, Kaduna State.
He worked with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC).
He was also a member of the House of Representatives between 2007 to 2011 representing the Mani/Bindawa federal constituency.
