ASARI DOKUBO , EX-MILITANT LEADER DARES BUHARI : PROCLAIMS BIAFRA GOVT
No calamity can be worse than a Nation hit by weak leadership, especially in crisis situation . There are other depressing adjectival clauses that flow from weak leadership– All of them revolve around one basic fact : it stretches away from capacity and competence to rid a nation from internal and external enemies.
Even in ordinary life situation, it’s common knowledge and popular words of wisdom : NEVER MAKE A THREAT OR PLEDGE YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT CARRY OUT because your honour, integrity and capacity would be on the line ! Upon failure to live by it, nobody will ever take you serious again and your words cannot be relied on in critical matters – moreso in the affairs of a Nation.
Penultimate week , while the nation was still reeling from the depressing blow of series of school abduction of school children by criminal bandits, the president put his honor on the line and told the whole world that – the nation had witnessed the last case of school abduction. It would be unkind for anyone to think the president doesn’t know the full weight and implication of his vow!
Just two weeks after, the criminal bandits snubbed his ‘Last school abduction’ vow.
No one expected to hear any further words of threat from the president order than seeing the full weight of action -pack presidential wrath hitting the nook and crannies of the bandits hideouts.
The president should be told in no uncertain terms that his honor is on the line…it’s either he fulfils his vow or he loses it all. Your word is your honour.
What Asari DOKUBO just did is a natural flow from the give -away perception that a weak leadership is in charge…as such no body contemplates consequences of any action. The bandits have open the floodgates of public perception of weak leadership and Asari DOKUBO tapped from it- surely others will follow. We sincerely hope that the alleged missing arms purchase funds , the hounding, heckling and hammering of IBRAHIM MAGU over yet- to -be – declared offence are not evidential of the free – for – all violation with zero contemplated consequences….It’s time the president shows the lion stuff he’s made of.
