It was a sad day today as Hon. Adiele Ekeke, a Commissioner in Abia State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ASOPADEC) buried his two children who died yesterday in an accident on Enugu-Okigwe express road. His wife who also died in the accident is yet to be buried as she is still lying cold in the mortuary.
The family was reported to back to Umuahia when their vehicle got involved in the ghastly accident that claimed their lives. The third child survived the accident but is currently in intensive care where doctors are battling to save her life.
Hon. Ekeke who confirmed the death of his wife, said: “It’s too hard to believe, but it did happened. We’re on our way to Ohanku to bury my 2 children, my only son and first daughter. Their mother is still in mortuary.”
