Premier League clubs have urged the British government to abolish restrictions on signing foreign players ahead of the country leaving the European Union, according to the Daily Telegraph.
There are fears that Brexit will make it more difficult to sign players from abroad due to the likely difficulty that will come with securing work permits.
And despite talks with the government and the Football Association, the country’s top clubs are concerned that there has not been any clarification over how Brexit will affect the transfer market.
