Imo State Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere has called on Christians in the country to continue to pray for the unity of Nigeria.
The Deputy Governor made this call through his Head of Information Pastor Akushie Chris during the 2017 Faithword convention of the Soulwinners Ministries Owerri, Imo State.
Prince Eze Madumere extolled the founder and presiding Bishop, Rt Reverend Nelson Nnana for his vision and steadfastness in preaching the gospel.
The Deputy Governor said that the theme of this year’s convention “Exceeding Grace” is apt, stating that without the grace of God, one can achieve nothing, even as he attributed the success recorded by the rescue mission government as the exceeding grace of God on the governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the people of Imo State.
Prince Eze Madumere therefore enjoined on all Christians to continue to pray for the present administration.
Earlier in his remarks the founder and presiding Bishop of Soulwinners Evangelistic Ministries Bishop Nelson Nnana said the church which was established 25 years ago was established to preach the gospel and equally empower the saints for the Kingdom of God.
Bishop Nelson Nnana assured that the church will continue to pray for the success of rescue Mission administration and thanked the Deputy Governor for finding time to attend.
