MASSOB Takes To The Streets As Trump Wins US Presidential Election

The Chief Ralph Uwazurike – led faction of Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, otherwise called Biafra Independent Movement, BIM, yesterday took to the major streets of Onitsha, Okpoko and Nnewi in jubilation to show solidarity over the declaration of Donald Trump as the winner of the United States of America, USA, Presidential election conducted last Tuesday.

In jubilation the BIM members led by Engr Osondu Okwaraeke, the BIM Red Cross National coordinator, said that with the victory of Trump against Hillary Clinton, actualization of Biafra republic has been assured.

According to Okwaraeke, “Nigeria government is not happy that Trump won the election because the Federal Government fears Trump will facilitate in the actualization as he promised during his electroneering campaign period”.

It was a drinking galore in some of the beer parlours as drinks were freely shared to people who cared for it.

At Okpoko, Onitsha suburb, some BIM members were seen in Biafra regalia dancing and drinking in solidarity to trump while at Nnewi, they had a little procession singing Biafra songs.

The Red Cross coodinator reiterated that “we will now have our own republic where intimidation and stealing will not exist”.
