Former governor of Abia State and Senator T. A. Orji has cautioned name droppers who are spreading false information that he has endorsed some candidates in tbe on-going Abia local government elections.
A statement by Eddie Onuzuruike, Media Adviser and Legislative Aide, said: “It has come to our notice that some people in our great party the PDP have relapsed into the complacency of name dropping and false claims in the ongoing LGA primary elections asserting that Senator T A Orji, Ochendo has endorsed them as the chosen candidates.
“Let it be noted that he has not endorsed anybody in any of the LGAs, be they male or female in Abia State.
“As exemplified in the Governorship elections of 2015, he is a man of Equity, freedom of choice and justice. He believes in exercising full democratic principles in all its ramifications. Candidates should work hard to sell themselves to the people they intend to serve.
“He advises all to take seriously the slogan of the party which is Power to The People. Let the people decide who will serve them. PDP power to the People.”
