Re: Ibeku Paramount Ruler apology to Orji Kalu: A blatant lie

To come to the air to tell the world that a monarch, flanked by his entire cabinet wept, as we read in the Daily Sun Newspaper of 19th September, 2016, for the ingratitude of the former governor of Abia State, Sen. T.A. Orji, their son, who should be the pride of his kinsmen sounds funny and to say the least, laughable. It is a blatant lie. It is unimaginable that any sane monarch can, so brazenly, mortgage the conscience of his entire subjects. It is like Esau selling his birth right for a pot of porridge. This is tradition nose-diving into politics as well as an insult to a people.
This cheap politics is easy to be identified as a fabrication of mischief makers. The people of Ibeku Ancient Kingdom will be quick to dissociate themselves from this mess. May I ask the monarch and his selected few cabinet members, What came over you? Is it true that a custodian of a people’s heritage like the monarch could descend so low to invite the former political Maradona who dribbled Abians in the arena between 1999 and 2007 for no other reason than to apologise to him, for what? Is Abia State the property of the monarch’s cabinet and the former governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu?
So, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu makes governors as he is not ashamed to tell Nigerians and the world that our votes do not count again? I am surprised that in this 21st century when every family in Abia State has produced graduates, we are being fooled by people who have lost direction.
Those of us who are born and brought up in Abia State know that we suffered a type of government, christened, ‘MAMACRACY’ with all impunities that characterized the reign. We are also aware that a group of people swore that equity should not be in Abia State. Still the frustrated monarch and his group have the gut to publish this nonsense in the newspaper just to manifest their hypocrisy. This group of Ibeku cabinet members were all beneficiaries of the then Chief T.A. Orji’s legacy government of Abia State and one wonders how these ingrates have made distraction their stock-in-trade in every administration.
By the way, can anyone establish the relationship between the invitation by the monarch and his cohorts to apologise to their august guest and the invitee’s response that he would not treat Governor Okezie Ikpeazu the way Orji treated him? Was Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu ever comfortable with an Ngwa-man becoming governor of the state? Can an Ngwa-man forget in a hurry the treatment meted out on his deputies from Ngwa area?
I am sorry for the confused monarch for weeping for a glutton. A monarch that will surround himself with hypocrites who milked Abia State under a regime, turned around to support Dr. Uche Ogah to be governor through the back door. Now they have fabricated the lies of making somebody to believe that their brother was ungrateful to his predecessor and even pleading with Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu that he regretted introducing Chief T.A. Orji to be made a governor. Wonders, they say, shall never end!
I wonder why people think that politics is all about telling lies to gain popularity and for the sake of keeping a political structure that is bound for a shipwreck. Their ingratitude published in the Sun Newspaper is a clear indication that the monarch and those around him sabotaged the enthronement of equity in the state and the possibility of the Abia South Senatorial zone to have her take on the governorship seat of Abia State.
Their failed plot is haunting them. That is why they left their traditional calling and responsibility to invite one who is not contented with political positions for apology. A former governor, a presidential aspirant/candidate, a contestant of FIFA President’s seat descending so low to contest a senatorial seat. Is he not a glutton? They should excuse us!
On a final note, I want to inform the Ukasoanyas, Akwukwaegbus, Eze (Sir) Samuel l. Onuohas and the Igwe Laz Onwunemes that their political agenda notwithstanding, they are bad losers. On EQUITY we stand.
