APC will take over Anambra in 2017, Ngige vows

Minister of Labour and Employment , Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige said weekend that All Progressive Congress, APC, would take over Anambra State in 2017 governorship elections.
Ngige made this disclosure while briefing the APC members from the State, Local Government Areas and Wards executives at Awka and Alor,his country home.
Said he, “APGA will run away from the Government House when the time comes. Very soon we will commence activities in the wards, local government areas and in the state, the Government House is waiting for us in 2017″.
“God helped us to sack PDP if not there would have been problems in this country because the money PDP stole run into trillions.
Contractor were owed up to N40 billion and N200 billion from the ministry of power”, he stated.
On the alleged lopsided cabinet appointment by President Mohammed Buhari he said it was not true but instead Buhari made the appointment to compensate those that suffered with him.
According to him, “since 2003 to 2015, 12 years, we have been following Buhari so he decided to compensate us with the ministerial appointment but you call it lopsided appointment”.
Speaking also on the construction of 2nd Niger Bridge he said work would soon commence hinting that the contract has been awarded to Julius Berger Construction Firm.
He added that negotiation is also going on for the rehabilitation of the Onitsha/ Enugu expressway including the Enugu/Portharcourt road that is in budget.
