A gem has been described as a precious stone, one that is outstandingly beautiful which glitters like a star.
Thursday 26th November marked the birth anniversary of one of the most magnificent young men, a gem and a giver of hope. An individual who against all odds has shown like a priceless jewel, one that has become a bubble to the lives of so many. It is not common to find many young Nigerians who are below 40 and have already achieved so much to have their names in the indelible inks of history especially in these tough times.
The Deputy Speaker Imo House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ozurigbo Ugonna, was born to the family of the Ozurigbos, of Umuozu in Nwangele LGA of Imo State, on November 25 1977. He is the fifth child of his parents. He was elected to serve the people of Nwangele at the Imo State House of Assembly in 2011, a position he retained.
The Rt. Hon. Ugonna with his ever radiant smile cannot be easily qualified, but I can say this, he has a strongly marked personality that can influence descendants for generations. The personality of the Deputy Speaker is one that can only be seen through the numerous people he has helped in this life.
The magnificent lawmaker has shown a stupendous display of charity to several people across class for which not for one day has any one described in a negative manner or borne false witness against him, instead he continues to receive praises from all avenues.
As his media aide, I was not aware his birthday was in this month and being someone that is around him he didn’t even confide in me that his birthday was coming up, that is the kind of man he is, not shy but not full of himself. He is a selfless entity, one that should be admired and modeled.
‘Ugonna Ozurigbo’ has been trending all over the social media as thousands of messages have been flooding in just to celebrate the birthday of this amazing political juggernaut.
His wife, his biggest fan, wrote on her facebook wall, “Happy birthday to the man of the people ..my best friend ,father of my children and my husband …we know that God who has brought u this far ,who has favoured u ..will bring his works to completion in your life …..the grace of God will never depart from u …..keep going and aim high my hero …..I love u till the end of the world.HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY HERO …”
I and all those who have been affected by this humble heart can only say “Happy Birthday, longlife and prosperity.”
