Imo Deputy Governor congratulates Anwuka, Onu, others

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, yesterday congratulated Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South East charging them to put in their best to bring about the desired change in their differing Ministries to the betterment of Nigerians at large.
Prince Madumere made this remark when at the Sandralia Hotel, Utako, Abuja, during a reception in honour of Professor, Anwuka, Minister of State for Education after his inauguration by President Mohammadu Buhari.
He used the forum to call on them to as usual bring their knowledge, experience, resilience and creativity to bear to move Nigeria forward.
He described Prof. Anwuka as an expert in education going by his background, a Professor and one time Vice Chancellor of Imo State University where his legacies are still pronounced. He also revealed that his inputs in strengthening Imo Education system cannot be over emphasized. He therefore charged him to come out with the best practices to help make Nigerian Education system sensitive to the requirements in various sectors for the development of the country.
He also described Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu and Senator Chris Ngige as round pegs in round holes given their academic excellence and experience as Governors of States.
Meanwhile Prof. Anwuka in his address revealed that he was put in the area he has always had a focus on. He explained that he would be focusing in the area of education that is key since it boarders more on the foundation of education of Nigerian Children. He said he will be saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that there is needed change and re-invigoration of Primary and Junior Secondary education and then Polytechnics.
He promised to do his best to bring their desired change so as to make Nigerian children have a rich foundation, which will enable them have easy grasp of their advanced stages of education. While thanking President Buhari and his Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for considering him worthy to serve, he pledged to bring honour to them by ensuring success in his responsibilities.
The number two citizen of Imo State also visited the homes of Chief Onu, Senator Chris Ngige to felicitate with them and also cheer them to successes in the new responsibilities in service to father land.
