Wife of Prof Protus Nathan Uzorma, a columnist with Daily Review Online has been kidnapped.
It was gathered that the wife was abducted on Sunday evening by gunmen at their World Bank Housing Estate Owerri,Imo State.
The situation has thrown the Family and Neighborhood of Human Right Activists,Lecturer and Socio-Political Crusader into disarray.
Prof. Uzorma maintains a weekly column in Daily Review Online, The Reformer. His articles have been very critical of the Imo State government.
As at the time of filling this report,the abductors are yet to contact the family.
It would be recalled that on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, gunmen suspected to be hired assassins his residence in which he was to accuse Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha, of sponsoring and masterminding the invasion of his home.
There was also an earlier attempt to kidnap him on March 17, 2013 when four gunmen stormed his house at about 5am looking for him. When they couldn’t find him, they left a message threatening they would have amputated his hands with which he writes articles against Imo State government.
