President Mohammadu Buhari has said it would be unfair on his part to treat zones who voted for him equally with zones who did not vote for him during the last presidential elections.

He stated thus during a public function in which he was answering a question from the audience. A reporter had asked How he was going to tackle the issues of Amnesty in the Niger Delta region, including forming an all- inclusive government.

Buhari who apparently did not understand what an all-inclusive government is, had to seek clarification from the anchor person. He said: “in all honesty, it will be unfair to treat all equally, in some issues with constituencies that voted for me and those who gave me may be five percent of the votes. This is a political reality.
“Everybody will get their constitutional rights. Some constituencies by sheer hardwork got their people to vote for me. They must feel better that government has appreciated the effort they put in putting my government together.
“By constitution, no zone will be excluded…everybody would have the protection of the constitution.
